Who We Are

The beautiful ambiance of the Elkhorn Bed and Breakfast was founded in 2004 is located on Mesa Hill, (6 miles south of Council) Idaho. 

Your host came to Idaho from the Eastern Sierra Nevada's with a dream of opening up a B&B.

She was raised in Santa Barbara California and  moved to the Eastern Sierra Nevada's Bishop, California for 16 years.

 Debra was working at Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort year round being a snow cat  and backhoe operator. Summers she would spend her vacations being a back county guide, cook and packer.

"I wanted to spend all my time with my horses and mules so I decided, with the help of my mother, to establish a Bed and Breakfast".

Deb basically took a road trip with her two Weimaraner's to Idaho and visited various real estate offices to seek out what now is our home here in Southwest Idaho!
